Translation and Interpreting Program

Welcome (Students and Instructor)
The Translation and Interpreting Program at Rutgers is one of the first programs in this discipline in the United States.  During the last 20 years, graduates from the Spanish Translation and Interpretation Program have achieved wide recognition within the field, with graduates holding leading positions in the field, such as federal and state court interpreting, in-house translation in Fortune 500 companies, translation management within the largest US translation agencies, and medical interpreting. The Program offers an MA and certificates in Spanish-English Translation and Interpreting.

The Program has grown due to the dedication of Dr. Zatlin, a world renowned scholar on Spanish Theatre and Translation, and it is currently directed by Dr. Miguel A. Jiménez-Crespo, PhD in Translation and Interpreting Studies by the University of Granada, Spain, and coordinated by Laura Ramírez-Polo, PhD.
