Donato Ndongo SP18

The Department of Spanish and Portuguese is delighted to host this talk/discussion with Donato Ndongo-Bidyogo, a celebrated poet, novelist and short story writer, literary critic, historian and journalist. Ndongo spent the earlier part of his life in the West African nation of Equatorial Guinea, but as a result of the decades of authoritarian rule, and of his unwavering and courageous advocacy of freedom, he lives in exile in Spain.

Talk will be in Spanish and take place via Skype.

Sponsored by the Dept. of Spanish and Portuguese; the Dept. of African, Middle Easter, and South Asian Languages and Literatures; the Center for African Studies; The Language Center.
