Kristen

Kristen is a sophomore majoring in linguistics and Spanish. A resident of Jameson Hall, her goal is to get into speech pathology and hopefully become a bilingual speech therapist. Outside of school work she is a philanthropist with an interest in traveling and a passionate artist: "I honestly don't think I could function without art. It's one of those things where, if I'm stressed, I make art. If I'm happy, I make art. If I'm upset, I make art. It’s a constant activity that I have in the back of my mind. I'm constantly thinking of new projects, new ideas. It’s almost like a coping mechanism. I don't know if I've found how to bring my passion for art into my schoolwork yet, but I'm always drawn to artistic endeavors. I involve myself in artistic extracurricular activities. I'm an editor at the Imaginate Literary Magazine. I am also in a social media position in a really new club that just started this semester called R.A.D. It stands for Rutgers Art & Design. It's really awesome trying to figure things out from scratch. I hope that it grows to be this community where even people who are not in Mason Gross who are still interested in art can learn about art and improve their skills."

Kristen began her own online store sharing her gift with the world.
