To celebrate International Translation Day, we have organized a series of activities on translation and interpreting that will take place on the 30^th of September with the generous support of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, their Translation and Interpreting Program, the new Rutgers Translation Studies Initiative, the Department of English, The Language Center, and the Program in Comparative Literature. This year our commitment to language, translation, and interpreting will continue, bolstered by the new Rutgers Translation Studies Initiative, the celebration of the fifth annual Rutgers Translate-a-thon, and the launch of the Language Bank, a free service provided by the Rutgers University School of Arts and Sciences with the mission of providing high-quality translation and interpreting services to local non-profits, social services organizations, and outreach initiatives.
