During the weekend of April 5th-7th the Conference of the American Translation and Interpreting Studies Association was held in the AB building and hosted over 80 international scholars from over 15 countries. Many of the top international voices in translation studies today in areas such as literary translation, interpreting, cognition, translation technology, audiovisual translation, cultural studies attended the event.
