Event Description
This presentation outlines attitudes and ways of doing contemporary art that could be useful in unconventional ways for human and socio-ecological development.
I will present two works: a “fog catcher” installed in the coastal desert of Chile in 2018, and an artistic residency program at Nube Lab, an arts and education NGO that I have directed since 2014.
What qualities of art, and in what ways, might be useful to enrich the perspectives and fields of environmental humanities today?
