Congratulations to our own Rosy Ruiz on receiving the School of Graduate Studies Staff Excellence in Student Support Award!
The Excellence in Student Support Award recognizes Rutgers staff members who have made significant contributions to SGS graduate students and programs.
Rosy was nominated by our graduate students and our GPD, Prof Yeon-Soo Kim. Rosy served over a decade as a graduate program administrator and went out of her way to help students. Everyone in the Spanish and Portuguese Department has benefited from her dedication, professionalism, and emotional support.
Rosy, together with the Graduate Program Director, attended the Annual Awards Ceremony on May 9th, where she received a commemorative plaque.
