Completing the M.A. in Translation and Interpreting program was the best way to build a solid career foundation. As I reflect on my career path, I am grateful for the experience and knowledge gained during my tenure at Rutgers. The courses offered by this program are designed and tailored to prepare students for real-life challenges and opportunities. Rutgers professors are experienced, passionate, accessible, and well versed in this field. All these elements combined, have given me the necessary confidence and tools to take on different career challenges in the legal and social services fields, have allowed me to contribute and thrive within a team setting, and to apply my knowledge in practical ways as a translator, mentor, project manager, and most recently, as a translation consultant.
