- Bio:
Mildred López, originally from Peru, is currently completing her Ph.D. at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. Mildred holds a Master’s Degree in History and Spanish Language and Cultures from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She was a fellow at AECI-Intercampus Spain at the Universidad de Sevilla. With over fifteen years of experience, Mildred has worked as an instructor, adjunct faculty member, and language coordinator at universities in the U.S. and Peru. She has also organized numerous community-engaged activities connecting college students with local communities, including film festivals, field trips, and art projects.
