I got my first job as an in-house legal translator and interpreter thanks to the program's internship course. After 3 years there, I got a position with Bloomberg as an in-house Spanish localization specialist, where I have been since 2011. I have passed portions of the state and federal court interpreter certifications at different levels, but ultimately, I decided I love the field of localization and translation project management the most, so it's where I have stayed. The things I learned from the Rutgers MA in Spanish Translation program, and the connections I made with fellow students and alumni, were invaluable in launching my career in T&I.
