Bio: Patrick Thane is a Ph.D. student in Bilingualism and Second Language Acquisition and teaching assistant of Elementary Spanish at Rutgers University. He has taught English to bilingual populations at elementary schools and directed an English as a Second Language program for the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund in New Jersey. Prior to beginning as a student at Rutgers, Patrick worked as an English language teacher in Alcorcón, Spain.
Research Interests: Patrick’s research interests relate to heritage language pedagogy and heritage/L2 acquisition of Spanish morphosyntax, with particular interests in verbal morphology.
